After yesterday’s marathon blog post, today’s will be much shorter. I’ve still got a sneak peek from the Stampin’ Up! 2019 Holiday Catalogue though, using the Frosted Foliage Stamp Set.

WINTER BACKGROUND
I began with another piece from the Feels Like Frost 6″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. I love this paper pack and you shouldn’t be surprised it’s making another appearance.
I took one 6″ x 6″ sheet and cut 2″ off the right hand edge and set it aside. Then I cut a 3/4″ strip off the bottom of the larger piece. Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) I attached the narrow strip along the bottom of a layer of Whisper White Card before fixing the layer inside a Thick Whisper White Card Base.
Going back to the wide strip of DSP I’d set aside, I trimmed this to 1″ wide and glued it to the left side on the front of a Whisper White Medium Envelope. Then using my Paper Snips I trimmed off the excess.
Finally, using more liquid glue I attached the main piece of DSP to the front of the card.
YULETIDE CHEER
The sentiment comes from the new Frosted Foliage Stamp Set and I stamped it onto Thick Whisper White Card using Night of Navy ink. Then I cut it out using the small frame from the coordinating Frosted Frames Dies.

The die adds a line of faux stitching around the edge of the cut shape but I wanted to step it up a little. So using the fine tip on a Seaside Spray Stampin’ Write Marker, I drew a line over the faux stitching. Then with the ‘stitching’ done I mounted the sentiment onto the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To finish I tied a small bow using the new 1/4″ Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon and added it to the sentiment with a Mini Glue Dot.
FROSTED FOLIAGE
I love the large clean sentiment on this card and how it compliments the background paper so beautifully. In fact I love everything about the Frosted Foliage Stamp Set, I can’t wait to use it again.

If you missed my other project using the Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP you’ll find it in my blog post Feels Like Frost sneak peek.
