Yesterday Stampin’ Up! released some new products. Some are only available for a short time and some are on special early release from the January to June 2020 Mini Catalogue. Today I thought I’d use the Curvy Christmas Stamp Set for my project. Unfortunately it has just gone into “not orderable” status which means they have sold 2000 more than they currently have in stock! That’s CRAZY! Anyway, as Stampin’ Up! make the stamp sets at their own manufacturing facility in Utah it won’t be long before they have more.

CURVY LINES
This stamp set is all about the curvy lines of the sentiments and some of the images. The curved images are quite long and so I used my Stamparatus to help me complete the stamping. Alternatively I could have used the large “I” acrylic block.
I took a layer of Whisper White Card and using Old live ink stamped the long tree image across the middle. Then on another layer of Whisper White Card I stamped it close to the bottom edge. Finally I stamped the trees along the bottom edge on the front of a Whisper White Medium Envelope.
Next I selected the curvy “Thinking of you at Christmas” sentiment. My regular readers will know that I always make some thinking of you cards as Christmas is not a jolly time for everyone.
Using VersaMark ink I stamped the sentiment just below the trees on the first Whisper White piece. Then I sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and tapped off the excess. After removing some stray specks I melted the rest of the powder using my Heat Tool set on 2 (high).
Now that was done it I was ready to begin putting the card together.

SIMPLE LAYERS
To complete my project I chose Old Olive Card for the card base. After cutting and scoring the card on my Paper Trimmer folded it along the scored line and sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder.
Next using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) I mounted the sentiment layer onto some Mossy Meadow Card. Then I fixed the assembled layers to the front of the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
That just left the second Whisper White layer which I glued inside the card base. With that my simple Christmas thinking of you card was done.
CURVY CELEBRATIONS
The ‘curvy celebrations’ promotion is more than just this stamp set. The Curvy Christmas Stamp Set will be available to purchase up to January 4th. Also available during this time is the Classic Christmas 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. These items can be purchased separately, or as part of a discounted bundle with two products on early release.
On early release from the January to June 2021 Mini Catalogue you can now buy the Quite Curvy Stamp Set / Curvy Dies Bundle. During the early release you do not have the option to buy these items separately, that will come on January 5th when the Mini Catalogue goes live. This is a bit of a pain as the dies also coordinate with the Curvy Christmas Stamp Set I used today.
If you want both stamp sets, the dies and the 6″ x 6″ DSP you can get them as a kind of ‘mega-bundle’. It’s worth looking at as during this promotion you’ll get 10% off everything.
See all the products and prices in the Curvy Celebrations flyer or order via the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle section of my online store. Just be aware that the English language version of the Curvy Christmas Stamp Set and the complete Quite Curvy Variety Bundle will only appear once these items are once again back in stock.
