My regular readers will know that I’m a bit obsessed with the Peekaboo Farm Stamp Set. I admit I’ve found it hard to put down and love all five of the cute farm animals. Over the past few weeks I’ve deliberately avoided using it, but I could only resist for so long. I eventually gave in and made a really quick card for today’s simple Sunday project.

From the Peekaboo Farm Stamp set I chose the cow image, plus a Soft Suede ink Pad. To keep things really simple I decided not to use the wall, which meant I’d have to be creative with the cow.
First I cut a 2″ x 5″ strip of Basic White Card and stamped him peeking in from the bottom left corner. Then I cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Basic White Card and stamped the cow in the bottom right corner. Finally I stamped the cow in the bottom right corner on the front of a Basic White Medium Envelope.
Going back to the Peekaboo Farm Stamp Set I chose the “Hello there” sentiment. Then using Soft Suede ink again I stamped it just above the cow on the 2″ x 5″ strip.
With all the stamping done I was ready to colour my images. For this I chose a light Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends alcohol marker. Sticking with my simple theme I coloured just the noses and a small area inside each ear on my three cows. That was it. No fussing or blending needed.
SIMPLE LAYERS
For my card base I used my Stampin’ Trimmer to cut and score some Soft Suede Card. Then I folded it along the scored line and sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder. On the inside I attached the 4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White layer using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow).
Before attaching the other white piece I needed to cut a 2-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Crumb Cake Card. Then I mounted the white strip onto it using liquid glue.

Next I wrapped some Crumb Cake twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials pack around the layers and tied it in a simple bow. With that done I added the assembled piece to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and today’s simple project was complete.
See I told you it was simple!

Well that’s all from me for today. The humidity’s finally dropped so I have a few outdoor tasks to accomplish while it’s relatively cool. Then I have a couple of projects I want to put together in my craft studio. Whatever you have planned, I hope you’re able to find a little time to do something you love.
