What a glorious weekend we’ve been having. Even though the wind off the bay is a bit chilly at times it keeps the bugs away. The washing is done and line dried, and now it’s time for a little gardening. We’re still clearing up the mess left by Hurricane Fiona last September which took down quite a few trees. Fortunately none hit the house, so we’ve been taking our time cutting up the debris. But before I disappear outside, here’s today’s simple Sunday project using the Timeless Arrangements Stamp Set.

TIMELESS ARRANGEMENTS
I began by choosing the “Hope your day is filled with everything good” sentiment. Using Tuxedo Black ink I stamped it onto a 2-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ piece of Basic White Card. Then I stamped the simple flower image beside it.
Colouring was quick and easy using the dark Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends alcohol marker for the leaves. I coloured the flower petals using dark Daffodil Delight, but left some little white areas.
With the colouring done I cut my mat layers starting with a 2-3/8″ x 2-3/8″ piece of Daffodil Delight Card. Then I cut a 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ piece of Granny Apple Green Card. Finally, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) I stacked the mat layers, topped them off with the stamped piece, and set it aside.
For my tag base I cut a 3″ x 6″ piece of Basic White Card. With the long side at the top I used the scoring blade of my trimmer to score the card at 3″. Then I folded the card along the scored line and sharpened the crease with a Bone Folder.
To turn the mini card into a tag I opened it up and placed it into the slot option on the Very Best Trio Punch. After sliding the card so the crease was just to the right of the slot image on the top of the punch, I pressed down.
From there all I had to do was thread 6″ of white twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack through the slot. Then using Stampin’ Dimensionals I added the assembled layers to the front of the folded card and my simple tag was complete. I hop you like it.
