Yesterday I created a vintage effect bookmark using a set of Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers I was rediscovering. Today’s project is somewhat similar and again uses just one pair of Stampin’ Blends markers, this time Pecan Pie. One of the great things about Stampin’ Up! is that they make sure that their card, inks, markers etc all coordinate. Layered Leaves
You all seemed to love the lupins in my garden yesterday and photos like that are a great resource in papercrafting. I used that photo as inspiration for the colours of the lupins and leaves on my card project. But as I looked at the photo again later I was struck by all the different leaves out there. Of course when you deliberately let an area go wild that will happen. So today’s quick project is just about the leaves, and taking advantage of a coordinating stamp set and punch. SIMPLE ... Sun Rays
And just like that the weekend is over and I didn’t quite get to everything on my to do list. But I came very close, so I’ll take that as a win. The weather hasn’t changed much and it’s going to be a very wet week. That’s the perfect excuse for doing some more reorganising indoors.
