Today’s project started with just one thought in my mind, use the All Wired Up Stamp Set. This is a simple background stamp but one that is so delicate that adds an elegant touch to any project.

ALL WIRED UP GOLDEN
To begin I cut a 2″ x 4-1/4″ strip of Thick Very Vanilla Card. Then I shaped the top using the Delightful Tag Topper Punch to create the tag base.
Next using the Stamparatus to help me, I stamped the All Wired Up image onto the tag with VersaMark ink. Then I sprinkled the sticky ink with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and tapped off the excess. Finally, after removing a few stray specks, I melted the rest of the powder using my Heat Tool set on 2 (high).
I love the look of gold embossing on Very Vanilla and decided to use that for my sentiment too. This “happy birthday” sentiment comes from the Four Season Floral Stamp Set. I stamped it onto some Thick Very Vanilla Card with VersaMark ink and sprinkled on the embossing powder. Then as before I tapped off the excess and removed some stray specks, before melting the rest with my Heat Tool. Finally I punched out the sentiment with a 1-1/2″ Circle Punch.
MORE PUNCHED PIECES
With the tag base and sentiment complete I then turned to the decoration. For these I chose the oak leaf punch from the Autumn Punch Pack and the Small Bloom Punch.
First from gold Brushed Metallic Cardstock I punched six oak leaves and set them aside.
Then from the Color Velveteen Paper I chose the Highland Heather sheet and punched out three flowers. To add some detail to the flowers I used Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. First around the tips of the flowers I added a little light Highland Heather. Then with the fine tip of the dark Highland Heather I drew in some lines from the centre of the flower onto each petal. Finally I flipped the flowers over and coloured in the whole of the white back with the dark Highland Heather.

Now it was time to assemble the pieces starting with the leaves, all attached using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow). Then I gently curved the flower petals using a Bone Folder before gluing two of them onto the tag. The third flower was added with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional. At this point I decided to add a little extra detail to the flowers with some of the smallest gems from the Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
Then more Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to add the sentiment towards the top of the tag. After that all I needed to do was cut a piece of gold/Old Olive ribbon from the All The Trimmings Ribbon Combo Pack and tie it to the tag.
This tag is so pretty, and to think it all started with a decision to use that All Wired Up background stamp.
