It's less than a week before Stampin' Up! announces which products will be retiring from the 2020/2021 Annual Catalogue. I try not to get to hung up about it as it means there's new products coming. Still, I have a few personal predictions and today's project features one of those, Color Velveteen Paper. The Color Velveteen Paper has a beautifully soft textured surface and it cuts just like ordinary card. I love it, but I haven't seen a whole lot of projects using it so that's why I suspect ... Special Someone For Some Heal-ium
Today's project is another from my 2020 World Cardmaking Day personal challenge that I haven't yet shown you. This get well card has a very simple layout with a punny sentiment from the Special Someone Stamp Set. To add interest I used the coordinating Special Day Dies and also the Balloon Bouquet Punch. SUBTLE LAYERS This project was really all about the two-part sentiment, so I decided to keep the rest of card quite subtle. I began by using my Paper Trimmer to cut and score a ... VIEW POST

All Wired Up For Another Gift Tag
Today's project started with just one thought in my mind, use the All Wired Up Stamp Set. This is a simple background stamp but one that is so delicate that adds an elegant touch to any project. Next using the Stamparatus to help me, I stamped the All Wired Up image onto the tag with VersaMark ink. Then I sprinkled ... VIEW POST

EAT THE TOMATO PASTE! Before you start thinking I'm combining tomato paste and card, let me explain. I've discovered that the tomato paste cans are the perfect size for napkin rings. The ones I ... Velveteen Paper Is Gorgeous
My plan for today's project was simple, make a masculine / gender neutral birthday gift tag. I also wanted to include the new Color Velveteen Paper in the design and have some die cut pieces too. As it turned out I ended up using three different die sets but the final result was definitely worth it. VELVETEEN PAPER It all started with the pack of Color Velveteen Paper. There are three colours in the pack, Soft Sea Foam, Highland Heather and the one I chose today, Cinnamon Cider. This ... VIEW POST
