What is it about daisies that make me want to smile? Whether it's a tiny daisy in the lawn, or a big bright gerbera I simply love them. I suppose that's why I love the Daisy Delight and Daisy Lane Stamp Sets from Stampin' Up! Of course the fact that there are now two different sized coordinating daisy punches doesn't hurt either. Today's simple Sunday project is a sweet and sunny daisy bookmark, with a little extra on the side... BASIC BOOKMARK BASE I began with a 2" x 5-1/2" strip ... VIEW POST
Daisy Decor Decision Time
Sometimes when I see a new stamp set from Stampin' Up! I know exactly what I'll do with it. Other times I like to sit and think awhile. Even when I have an immediate idea, it may not be the first project I make. That's what happened with the Daisy Lane Stamp Set and Medium Daisy Punch bundle. I had a vague idea to create a daisy decor piece, but decided to let that one stew for a while. Finally today was the day and even now I'm not sure how I'll display it... A PILE OF ... VIEW POST
A New Leaf Option

PHOTO ALBUM COVER I began with a pocket photo album from the Dollarstore and removed the generic covers. ... VIEW POST

Daisy Lane With No Daisies
When you hear that a stamp set is called Daisy Lane you might think that your projects will end up full of daisies. Well while that may be true, there are other images in the set that are just as pretty. So for today's Simple Sunday project I'm concentrating on the detailed fern image instead. A SPRUCED UP BACKGROUND I began by stamping the large fern image over a layer of Very Vanilla Card using Shaded Spruce ink. Then I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tombow) to attach it to a card ...
