I don’t know about you but I have a hard time visualising things in the ‘wrong’ colours. Like pink chickens or purple sunflowers. I’ve even found that I get hung up with Designer Series Paper (DSP) and just can’t see the coordinating stamp images in any other colour palette. Soft Seedlings Repurposed
Almost a month ago I showed you a simple thank you card using the Soft Seedlings Stamp Set. I must admit that I was late to the party with this set and my only regret is not getting it sooner. This is a DistINKtive stamp from Stampin’ Up! which means it stamps with varying areas of light and dark all in one go. Goodbye Autumn Leaves
Despite the chill in the air, yesterday turned out to be a very lovely day. We made the most of it by driving to Parrsboro for lunch. Then on our way back we visited the Lighthouse Park at Five Islands. What struck me most was that almost all the leaves have now fallen. Of course we still have the evergreen trees but it’s sad to see the autumn colours gone. Soft Autumn Thank You
My Facebook memory for today was a couple of photos I’d taken four years ago. They were the same view of maple trees in my front yard taken one day apart. How can we be halfway through October already! I’m definitely not prepared for winter but hopefully we can still enjoy milder autumn weather for a while longer.
