With a new project on my blog every day I have a lot of finished items to hand. I do sell them in local craft stores and events but that takes time. So if I need a card or other item I can quickly grab one from my stash. However, every now and then I need to create something in a hurry but I have a shortcut. I keep a selection of sentiments stamped, cut and ready to add to a project. The Many Happenings Stamps Set makes this easy. SYMBOLS OF FORTUNE This project actually started as ... VIEW POST

California Poppy For A Brighter Monday
Once again the weekend disappeared and we're faced with another Monday morning. It's not all bad of course, the weather is set to be bright and sunny, and not too humid. I've also noticed that a parcel from Stampin' Up! has made good progress and will be delivered to me a day early. That means I have a stack of chores to get done this morning if I want the whole afternoon to play. So here's a quick card with a California poppy so you can have a bright start your your Monday too. Combining Paper Lattice And Ribbon
Sometimes an idea pops into my head and I simply have to give it a try. This is what happened after I created a card using the new Paper Lattice from Stampin' Up! I'd only used half of a Paper Lattice sheet so I began to play with the other half. This gorgeous thank you card was the result. LATTICE WEAVE Looking at the half sheet of Paper Lattice it occurred to me that I could probably weave something through the holes. I considered using strips of card but decided to use ribbon ... True Love Paper Scrap Is Not Wasted
Back at the end of January I created a thank you card using the True Love 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (DSP). This paper pack contains 12 different black and white designs; some floral and some geometric. I have to say that it's probably my favourite DSP from the January to June 2021 Mini Catalogue, simply because of its versatility. After completing the card I had a small piece of the hand-coloured paper left over and I resolved not to waste it. In the end I decided it would make the ... VIEW POST

Hopes For More Messages Coming True
I love the Many Messages Stamp Set especially as the coordinating Messages Die cuts all 19 sentiments (and 4 small shapes) in one go. The sentiments feature different fonts and a variety of sizes and cover different occasions which is great. But even so I wanted more, and expressed my hope for additional stamp sets to use with the die. Looking through the upcoming 2021/2022 Annual Catalogue I saw that my hopes are coming true. Although I can't order it until May 4th, the new Many Happenings ... VIEW POST

Scripty 3D Embossing Folder’s Last Chapter
Today's project uses two more retiring products, plus one that is being reconfigured. My regular followers will know that I like to use up every scrap of paper. This is especially true when it's being retired like the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP). When it's a really small piece, I often like to add extra detail to the background. That's how I ended up with this striking card design using the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder. PEONY GARDEN This project began with the 2" x 2" ... VIEW POST
