In just nine days time, on May 25th, Stampin’ Up! will reveal the Last Chance List and we’ll find out which products from the Stampin’ Up! January to June 2022 Mini Catalogue will be retiring forever. Some products have already been carried over into the 2022/2023 Annual Catalogue. However the question is whether any more will be reprieved. Past experience tells me that all the Designer Series Paper (DSP) packs will go. So today I used one of my favourites, Symbols of Fortune to create this ... VIEW POST
All Dressed Up But Gotta Go
Yesterday I finally received my pre-order of new products from the Stampin’ Up! 2022/2023 Annual Catalogue. However the day was not without disappointment as I’d barely opened the box before I had to get dressed for work and leave. On the plus side, as soon as I’ve finished writing this blog post I have the whole day free. So while I set to work on creating the projects for next week’s sneak peek posts, here’s a pretty gift card / treat holder created using the retiring All Dressed Up ... VIEW POST
Tasteful Labels Will Be Missed
There’s less than three more weeks left before the Last Chance promotion ends and the retiring products are gone. If you’re looking for a bargain, check out the dies, punches, paper and accessories. Most of these are discounted, including the Tasteful Labels Dies used to cut out the sentiment on today’s slimline card project. Fewer stamp sets are discounted but they’re still worth a look. All the retiring products that are still available can be found in the Last Chance section of my website. ... VIEW POST
Dressed To Impress Once More

Sadly I think this stamp set and the coordinating All Dressed Up Dies might be on the retiring list being revealed in three weeks. So this may well be my last opportunity to ... VIEW POST
Wildflower Path With Bamboo
Why is it that so many papercrafters say they find making masculine cards the most difficult? I have to admit I used to feel that way too until I developed a sort of blueprint. I’ll often look for a non-flowery paper (or embossing folder), and then stick to simple shapes. But that doesn’t mean it has to be boring. Today’s masculine / gender-neutral card is a perfect example of that. After choosing a simple bamboo patterned paper and the Wildflower Path Stamp Set for my ... VIEW POST
Lovely Cards Can Be Quite Simple
After the recent stress of major computer issues I'm happy to report that things are more under control. Most of my software is on the new machine and I can now concentrate on the files. Today I plan to delete things I don't need so I can properly organise the rest. Spring-cleaning my computer has been on my long-term to-do list and it's great to be able to get started on that. Meanwhile here's this week's simple Sunday project using the Lovely You Stamp Set and Symbols Of Fortune ... VIEW POST
