It’s the start of a new week and another chance to get my craft room organised. While waiting for my pre-order of products from the new 2022/2023 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue I’m making room by sorting through the retiring things, and deciding what to keep and what to sell. I started well enough but then got distracted by the Handsomely Suited Stamp Set and Suit & Tie Dies. These coordinating products are on the retiring list and I just couldn’t say goodbye without using them to make one ... VIEW POST
Sweater Weather With Suit & Tie Dies
The past few mornings have been quite foggy and damp and autumn is definitely here. So I think it's finally time to start putting away the summer tops and start bringing out the warmer clothes. It must have been at the back of my mind when I was doing my card making marathon last weekend too. Why else would I have used the Suit & Tie Dies to create this masculine sweater birthday card? KNIT TOGETHER This project began with the large Knit Together background stamp and a Merry ... VIEW POST
It’s A Casual Shirt & Tie Kind Of Day
It's the weekend and where I am it's going to be a miserable rainy day. So there's nothing to do except put on something comfy, stay in and craft. After a couple of weeks playing with products from the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue I thought it was time for a change. There's been a lot of florals just recently too so today I wanted to bring you something a bit more masculine. The Handsomely Suited Stamp Set and coordinating Suit & Tie Dies were just what I needed... WELL ... VIEW POST
Special Jacket & Tie For A Special Occasion
I'm always on the lookout for stamp sets and dies that I can use on masculine or gender neutral projects. So it's hardly surprising that I knew I'd have to get the Handsomely Suited suite. The Handsomely Suited Stamp Set and coordinating Suit & Tie Dies are amazing and I've had lots of fun with them. For the most part I've paired these with the Well Suited Designer Series Paper (DSP) which is part of the suite, or the In Good Taste DSP. Both contain patterns that are simply perfect for ... Layering Ovals To The Rescue
Sometimes when I sit down to craft I know exactly what I'm going to do. Other times I just start playing and see where I end up. Today's project was one of those created without any real plan, and it was saved by the retiring Layering Ovals Dies. WELL SUITED It all began after I found an 8" x 10" brown carrier bag in my stash. It's very boring, but I remember buying it because I thought it was a perfect 'blank canvas' just waiting to be decorated. I'd been making lots of quite ... VIEW POST
DSP Scrap Well-Suited For A Gift Tag
It's a well-known fact that I hate to throw small scraps of card, Designer Series Paper (DSP), ribbon etc. away. I'm one of those crafters who always thinks I'll find a use for it. The trick to using it up is having a system to find it when you need it. So for my patterned paper I always keep the scraps in the package with the full sheets. That's how I found this 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" square of Well-Suited DSP with a striking diagonal pattern. It didn't take long to turn it into a masculine ... VIEW POST
