Although I’ve been making cards etc. for more than ten years, things don’t always go to plan, However that doesn’t mean I throw these ‘mistakes’ away. Most of them are salvageable in some form and it would be silly to waste the work I’d already put in. So that’s how I came across the geese for today’s Simple Sunday card. I’d stamped and coloured them for another project and then dropped my ink pad onto the card! Thankfully it missed the geese, so I cut them out and saved them. SILLY GOOSE ... VIEW POST

Goose Bumps And Chicken Pox
This morning I heard that one of my two-year old granddaughters has just broken out in chicken pox, I’m sure her twin sister won’t be far behind. Meanwhile my eldest granddaughter and I are making plans for her to spend some of the summer here with us. Like me and her Mum she loves to read and so I couldn’t resist making this bookmark for her. The Goosebumps series of books by author R.L. Stine are quite scary, unlike this pair of birds from the Silly Goose Stamp Set. GOOSE BUMPS As soon ... VIEW POST
Labels Still Aglow
One of the things I’ve realised recently is that products carried over from the July to December 2022 Mini Catalogue are being forgotten. I’m hoping that the reason these items are still available is because they’re going to be included in the Stampin’ Up! 2023/2024 Annual Catalogue. One of these is the Labels Aglow Dies I used when creating today’s card project. As well as cutting peek-through designs on card layers there’s also dies to cut fancy labels. I was delighted to find the perfect one ... VIEW POST
Thanksgiving Goose?
After yesterday’s wildly colourful project I decided to take things down a notch. It began with an idea to show you some more of the amazing Basics 3D Embossing Folders. These are part of the new Online Exclusives range from Stampin’ Up! that was released on March 1st. If you’ve followed my blog over the past couple of weeks you’ll know that I’ve already shown you the three different embossing folders in the pack. However today with the help of a sweet thanks giving goose here’s an entirely ... VIEW POST
Silly Goose
Despite having a room full of stamp sets and other crafty things I still get excited by the new. While I can’t afford to get everything I might want, I do like to treat myself each month. Yesterday I was delighted to finally get my hands on the Silly Goose Stamp Set. My regular readers will know I’m a sucker for cute animal (and bird) images and this one immediately caught my eye. So today I couldn’t help but get it inky to create this super sweet birthday gift tag. EASIEST TAG ... VIEW POST
