After making the decision many years ago to blog with a new project every day I've made thousands! Since I started counting I've designed 391 bookmarks, 100 boxes/bags, 224 gift card holders, 248 gift tags plus lots of other projects. Today's card is number 2365. The inspiration, as so often happens, came from patterned paper. This pretty floral design with tiny butterflies is another from the Symbols of Fortune 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack. For the birthday ... VIEW POST
Simply Elegant Paper Makes It Easy
Whenever I consider buying new packs of patterned paper I always look for versatility. Does this paper only work with one or two occasions, or does it have a wider appeal? The Simply Elegant 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) ticks all the boxes for me. It has designs with shiny foil elements, and it has designs without foil. There's flowers which will appeal to some, and other patterns that are more masculine or gender-neutral. So for today's project I wanted to focus on the ... VIEW POST
Tropical Weather On The Horizon
Despite arriving back from the UK late on Saturday night, it wasn't until yesterday at I felt like I was home. Mind you I'm under mandatory quarantine for 14 days and so restricted to just three rooms. It's not all bad though because in addition to my bedroom and bathroom, I have one other room where I can spend my day, my craft studio. With the weather very hot and muggy yesterday I was drawn to the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set. I haven't used this set in ages, and it appears I haven't used ... VIEW POST
Just Put Your Feet Up And Relax
Today is going to be one of those relaxing days with nothing important on my to do list. It is Sunday after all. We have quick and easy meals planned, and the only 'chore' is a load of washing. As I have machines that do most of the work, I can hardly call that difficult. In fact, so long as I fold it straight from the dryer I'll not even have to iron it. So my plan is essentially to put my feet up, read a book and maybe do a little colouring. What about you? REST & RELAX When ... VIEW POST
Take One Leaf And A Sentiment
I was looking over some of the gift tags I've made recently and it seems that there's been only a few that are gender neutral or masculine. So today I decided to redress the balance a little with a quick but elegant design. From the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set I took a single leaf image and birthday sentiment and set to work. FOLDED TAG BASE I began by cutting a 3" x 6" piece of Very Vanilla Card, then with the long side at the top scored it at 3". I folded the card and sharpened the ... VIEW POST
Ornate Garden Suite Is Now Available
It hardly seems possible that it's April already and Sale-A-Bration is over for another year. I hope you were all able to take advantage and get some the free products you wanted. As sad as it is to say goodbye to that promotion, I'm excited because that means the Ornate Garden Suite is now available for customers to buy. Over the past two weeks I've created sneak peek projects using products from the suite. Today's project uses the one part of the suite I haven't yet shown you, the Ornate ... VIEW POST
