Today I have another sneak peek from the new Sale-A-Bration Brochure. Well it's more like part two of a previous sneak peek. One of the free items you can choose with a $120 order is the Power of Hope Bundle. This bundle consists of the Power of Hope Stamp Set and the Stone 3D Embossing Folder. I gave you a sneak peek of the stamp set a few days ago, so today I'm focusing on the embossing folder... WONDERFUL MOMENTS For my sentiment I went to the Wonderful Moments Stamp Set. At ... Wonderful Moments for the Guys
The other day as I was making a pregnancy congratulations card using the Wonderful Moments Stamp Set I wondered if I could use the set to make a masculine card. Well apparently I could, as today's project shows. WONDERFUL MOMENTS Although the three images in the Wonderful Moments Stamp Set are ladies, many of the sentiments can be used for masculine cards. I chose "Celebrating a special day with a special wish for a very special person" which is not gender specific. I simply stamped ... VIEW POST
Celebrating A Dream Come True
A couple of days ago a good friend of my daughter announced she was expecting a baby. I know she's had difficulties conceiving and so we are delighted to hear her news. It really is a dream come true for them and today I set out to create a simple card to mark the occasion. GREAT EXPECTATIONS I knew exactly where to find my focal image and sentiment for this card, the Wonderful Moments Stamp Set. This set contains some lovely line art images and I wanted to use this one of an ... VIEW POST
Introducing The Swallow-Tailed Kite
I appear to have become a little obsessed with the new Designer Series Paper (DSP) from Stampin' Up! I've gone from rarely using it to full-one 'can't put it down' mode. So when I saw the blue sky with the birds I immediately thought 'seagull', apparently I wasn't the only one. But after looking at it for a while I noticed ... VIEW POST
Better Belated Than Never
After spending a lovely couple of weeks driving through the US and attending Stampin' Up! OnStage Live in Orlando, Florida, I'm now back home and keen to get crafting. It will take a while to get back into my routine, and in case I missed something I thought this belated card was quite appropriate. It's the perfect card for a simple Sunday project. WATERCOLORED INKS I love colouring and have been using Stampin' Blends an awful lot lately. For today's project I decided to watercolour ... VIEW POST
Little things like textured weave
I don't tend to use a whole lot of ribbon on my projects. But when I do it has to be something that I love. The Stampin' Up! 2018 Holiday Catalogue has some gorgeous new ribbons and I have one to show you today. This one is called Poppy Parade 1/2" Textured Weave Ribbon. It has a wonderfully interesting texture in Poppy Parade and Whisper White. The white edging is obvious, but look closely and you'll see a subtle difference between the two sides. On one side it seems the body of the ... VIEW POST
