Life has been pretty hectic lately but with so many 'holidays' crammed into the last few months of the year that's not unexpected. I does remind me though that sometimes while you might want something hand-crafted, it has to be quick and easy. When I realised I don't have any pumpkin stamps that could have been an issue for my Thanksgiving preparations. But being the creative type I thought outside the stamp set and found some lovely pumpkins in the Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper (DSP) ... VIEW POST
Autumnal colours for autumnal weather
For today's project the distinctly autumnal feel of this morning's weather inspired my colour choices. But rather than go with a tried and trusted combination I decided to try something new. So after choosing Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Rococo Rose and Old Olive, I set to work. AUTUMNAL WREATH I began my autumnal card with the large wreath image from the Arrange A Wreath Stamp Set. This is quite a large image and so I decided to use my Stamparatus to help me with the stamping. After ... VIEW POST
Another Card Using Small Scraps
Sometimes less is more when it comes to a card design. That's especially true when I find a few small pieces of specialty card or Designer Series Paper (DSP). It's also an economical way to make a stack of cards when I need them. However that doesn't mean I can't add a little touch of luxury to make my simple Sunday project a bit more special. CARD AND PAPER PIECES I began my project with the thank you sentiment from the Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set. For this I cut a piece of Thick ... VIEW POST
A Place To Write My Plans
Yesterday was a very productive day. I mentioned that with only 4 months to go, I really should get going on my Christmas crafting. That meant making plans for what I need to do and when. I did do that, but first I needed a place to write things down. So that's how I ended up with today's project share; a little pine tree notebook. POINSETTIA PLACE The idea for my notebook started with a pattern from the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper (DSP). While obviously there are ... VIEW POST
Take one Mini Paper Pumpkin Box
It's tough to create with a headache but I managed it. I just wanted to create something quickly, and a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box was the first thing at hand. With a little ink, stamping and die-cutting I was able to create a pretty favour box for my Thanksgiving table. MINI PAPER PUMPKIN BOX The Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes come flat but are all cut and scored. They have a food safe coating on the inside while the outside is plain white and ready for decorating. Today I used a quick ink ... VIEW POST
Ink In All The Right Places Today
When you blog every day with a new project design it can be challenging. Often I go to bed wondering what my next project will be and I wake up with an idea. In the event that that doesn't happen, usually a shower does the trick. Today was once of those days and the idea for a candle collar popped into my head. So with products from the new Gilded Autumn Suite and a couple of ink pads I set to work. CANDLE COLLAR I began with a pillar candle that is 2-3/4" across and 2-1/4" high (not ... VIEW POST
