I know I’ve said it before, but I love the Fond Of Autumn Stamp Set. First there’s a gorgeous large image that is perfect for a card front. Then there’s three smaller images that are great for decorating envelopes and the inside of cards. In addition there’s also a banner image and six sentiments. But what I love the most are the unusual features of the coordinating Autumn Bouquet Dies. I showcased these dies in two previous blog posts, and today’s project is the last in this three part ... Autumn Bouquet Dies Part 3
Autumn In The Air
With the year flying by I have some project ideas using pine cones collected from trees at the far end of our property. Unfortunately after ignoring that area for too long the grass is now about two feet tall making getting to the trees a challenge. So rather than wade through on foot I decided to tackle two tasks at once and mow a path through. My subsequent trip around the garden also revealed signs that autumn is on the horizon and it inspired me to create this acorn-decorated ... VIEW POST
Ink For Painting
Did you know that July has been designated World Watercolor Month? While painting with ink mixed with water isn’t exactly what the originators had in mind, it’s as close as I get. Nature’s Harvest For A Thank You Card

This was the result... NATURE'S HARVEST CONEFLOWER There's something about the coneflower in the ... VIEW POST
Nature’s Harvest Coneflowers Again
Now autumn has definitely arrived in Nova Scotia and I'm enjoying watching the amazing transformation in the garden. It's the same when I travel around the area where the farmers get on with their harvest and begin to prepare for winter. So it's hardly surprising that once again I was drawn to autumn colours and the Nature's Harvest Stamp Set. Today my colour palette was all about warm red and orange. ACCIDENTAL COLOURS It may not be obvious from the main photo, but this colour scheme ... VIEW POST
Rediscovering The Sunflowers
Autumn is definitely getting a foothold here in Nova Scotia. As I drove into town yesterday I noticed quite a few trees have started to replace green with bright reds and yellows. While we don't have any fields of sunflowers, somehow when I think of autumn I always think of them. So today I decided that I'd pull out the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set and coordinating Sunflowers Dies for this pretty gift tag. CELEBRATE SUNFLOWERS WITH MARKERS Instead of ink pads I thought it would be ... VIEW POST
