I must apologise for the late arrival of today's blog post. Today is obviously going to be one of those days where things take that much longer to get done. What's frustrating is that my birthday card project was done and photographed yesterday. But I've not been nearly as efficient this morning. Thanks to everyone who followed me on Facebook over the weekend. To say that I am tired is a bit of an understatement. For the past 4 years to mark World Cardmaking Day I've set myself a personal challenge. I resolve to design and make from scratch, 24 cards (complete with decorated insides and envelopes) in 24 hours. It's not an easy task, but if it was it wouldn't be a challenge. Another Ink Pad Background Idea
Last week I showed you a fun technique for creating your own backgrounds using the 'ink swipe' technique. Today I have another quick and easy idea, the 'ink pad to paper' technique. As the name suggests the background is made by pressing the ink pad directly onto the paper or card. However unlike the ink swipe technique, this time you use a tapping type of motion.
