As I checked the Last Chance List again this morning I noticed even more retiring products that are now sold out. So it’s getting harder and harder to make sure my projects only use Stampin’ Up! items that are still available to buy. Today’s simple Sunday project features three retiring products. For the base, Sun Prints 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper (DSP), along with Gray Granite 1/4” Shimmer Ribbon. But the item I’ll miss the most is the Count On Me Stamp Set and that oh so cute ... Count On Me Again
It’s now only 9 days until Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators get their first look at the new 2023/2024 Annual Catalogue. Although they haven’t told us that the Retiring List will also be revealed on that day, we’ll be able to work out for ourselves which items are being discontinued. One of the safest bets for retiring products is Designer Series Paper (DSP) like the Rain or Shine Specialty Paper used on today’s card. DSP very rarely gets carried over so don’t count on any of it being available for ... VIEW POST
Happy Hugs
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, stamp sets that have only sentiments or only images are very freeing. When I pick up these sets there are no preconceived ideas about how I should use the stamps. Today I grabbed the Happy Labels Stamp Set which has 12 large sentiments. Interestingly this set is available in both cling-mount rubber and see-through photopolymer. Personally I went for the photopolymer version as it makes it much easier to see where I’m stamping. Then all I needed was a ... VIEW POST
Very Best Trio Punch
Today’s simple project features the cute little kangaroo from the Count On Me Stamp Set. However it was actually just an afterthought following the main purpose of this post. What I really wanted to show you was my hack for using the Very Best Trio Punch. I use this punch at least once a week, if not more, and love the slot option. Punching it in the centre of a strip of card has, to date, involved measuring and marking the centre with a pencil & ruler, but no more! TRIO PUNCH ... VIEW POST
Forever Fern and Forever Flourishing
Sometimes when you have a very sore throat you just have to go with the flow... Like right now as I am fighting off a cold kindly given to me by my hubby. It's my granddaughters' first birthday today and twins were definitely on my mind. In fact this project is a collaboration with some additional input from my daughter, the twins’ Mummy. So with the cuddling koalas from the Count On Me Stamp Set and the Forever Fern and Forever Flourishing Dies close at hand, I set to work. COUNT ON ME ... VIEW POST
Three Stamp Sets For One Birthday Card
I must apologise for the late arrival of today's blog post. Today is obviously going to be one of those days where things take that much longer to get done. What's frustrating is that my birthday card project was done and photographed yesterday. But I've not been nearly as efficient this morning. In my defence I've had long video chat with my daughter and twin 9-month old grandbabies, and taken the garbage to the end of the drive in the snow. One very enjoyable distraction and the other, ...
